Arnaud Adami uses painting to shine a light on different professions and, behind them, the men and women who practise them. Whether he depicts delivery drivers, carers, sex workers or florists, Arnaud Adami is committed to treating everyone with the same respect and consideration. In doing so, he uses painting to restore a certain balance in a society where growing inequalities, fuelled by the increasing precariousness of the world of work, only serve to reinforce social hierarchies.
The works presented here form part of a series begun in February 2026 at Château La Coste during his exhibition *Ma part d’eux*, then expanded in June at the Stance Gallery in Stockholm for his exhibition *Compositions*, which was dedicated to florists. In this latter exhibition, flowers are never treated merely as subjects of still life. They constitute an emotional and symbolic medium, capable of embodying fragility and toil (Margaux Plessy).
