    RÉOUVERTURE LE 26 AOÛT À 10H30

It's always with the same pleasure and excitement that we embark on an exhibition by François Malingrëy. After ‘Les Silencieux’ (2020), ‘La Chambre Rouge’ (in 2021, at Art Paris Art Fair and at the gallery), and ‘Les reflets, la naissance, les effondrés’ (in 2023, first at Christie's and then at the gallery), François Malingrëy is unveiling his new series of works alongside Jonathan Roze, in Rennes.
As usual, the series is available on canvas and wood cut-outs, and features his familiar figures as well as new feline and winged models.

Through his portraits and scenes, François Malingrëy continues to develop his work, both in terms of technical mastery and the mysterious, intriguing atmosphere that envelops his works. Accoutrements and anachronisms reinforce this enigmatic dimension, which allows each person to interpret the compositions in a unique way.

This new exhibition features six new oils on canvas and around ten oils on wood depicting birds: oystercatchers and magpies. The latter complement an installation entitled “L'automate”, on display in the window, a video presentation of which will be available shortly.
